Ingo has 15+ years experience as Venture Capital & Private Equity Investor leading transactions in Germany, USA and France. Before starting Vectorpilot, he was 10+ years General Partner of Frankfurt-based Creathor Venture. Until 2004 he was heading the Berlin office of 3i group and 3i's sector for deep-tech in Germany. Ingo started his VC career in 1998 at Technologieholding, a successful early-stage VC in Germany.

He has a track-record of significant capital raises and exits such as Infovista (IPO Nasdaq) or Aegisoft (sale to listed US buyer) or Jaron (sale to PE fund) or Netbiscuits (PE secondary) or Linkfluence/Medialysten (Build-up).

In addition, Ingo advised 8+ years blue chip corporate companies on digital innovation and new business building. Ingo is a Venture Partner at the Company Builder iQ! where he recently structured and invested in the carve-out of HDU, the eBusiness joint-venture with Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG. 

 

Ingo's international business background includes directorships on boards of German, French and US companies. He was several years Venture Partner with international Funds such as Kreaxi Ventures. He is in the Strategic Commitee of the European Champions Alliance, an association, that supports the international scaling of digital start-ups and tech champions.

 

Ingo holds a master’s degree in engineering from Technical University of Darmstadt and ECL Lyon and a master’s degree in Business Administration from University of St. Gallen.
